6:00 –7:00 pm Tuesday & ThursdayWe practice silent sitting meditation, in the tradition of Zen Buddhism. It is ok to arrive late and/or leave early, you can meditate for as long as you want. We are here to provide a supportive community and a calm space to help you with your daily practice. This is not a guided meditation event but every 15 minutes the host will toll the bell to do 5 minutes of stretching.
If you have no experience with Zen meditation please arrive early and we will give you tips to get you started. You can either sit on a chair or on a meditation cushion. If you’re hoping to use a meditation cushion please RSVP or bring your own as we have limited supplies. Feel free to bring a change of clothes to make your practice more comfortable. There’s always snacks and beverages available.
There is no cost for this event but donations are always welcome.
